VIRGINIA FRANCES STERRETT
(1900 – 1931)
Ilustradora americana que si bien murió muy joven (diagnosticada con tuberculosis desde los 19), dejó una serie de trabajos dignos de admirarse. Sus ilustraciones más conocidas son las elaboradas para Las mil y una noches (The Arabian Nights) en el periodo 1923-1928. También destacan sus ilustraciones de Old French Fairy Tales (1919-1920) y Tanglewood Tales (1921).
